Falsifiable Quantitative Predictions of Strong-Gravity Saturation, Substrate-Mediated Ringdown, Gravitational-Wave Echoes, and Finite-State Radiation
Volume XIV: Singularity Resolution and Strong-Gravity Dynamics Domain
Status: Singularity Resolution, Synthesis Anchor Dynamics, Gravitational-Wave Echoes, and Finite-State Radiation — Four Predictions
Prediction 1: Substrate-Mediated Ringdown and Exponential Relaxation
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Strong-Gravity Dynamical Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Vacuum Stiffness \(K=11.350\), Synthesis Pressure \(P=0.6900\), Synthesis Anchor mass \(M\), gravitational constant \(G\), speed of light \(c\), Anchor radius \(r_A\), reference frequency \(\omega_{\mathrm{ref}}\), substrate relaxation coefficient \(\Gamma_S\), and substrate disturbance \(\delta\Sigma\).
- Core Mechanism: A strong-gravity merger generates a nonequilibrium substrate disturbance whose relaxation is governed by \[ \frac{\partial(\delta\Sigma)}{\partial t} = -\Gamma_S\delta\Sigma. \] The finite Anchor boundary has the characteristic frequency \[ \omega_{\mathrm{ref}} = \frac{c}{r_A}, \] with the closed Anchor-radius relation \[ r_A = \left( \frac{8\pi G^2M}{KP} \right)^{1/3}. \] Therefore, \[ \omega_{\mathrm{ref}} = c \left( \frac{KP}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3}. \] The relaxation coefficient is \[ \Gamma_S=P\omega_{\mathrm{ref}}, \] giving \[ \Gamma_S = Pc \left( \frac{KP}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3} = c \left( \frac{KP^4}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3}. \] The complete relaxation profile is \[ \delta\Sigma(t) = \delta\Sigma_0 \exp\!\left[ - Pc \left( \frac{KP}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3} t \right]. \] The characteristic relaxation time is \[ \tau_{\mathrm{relax}} = \Gamma_S^{-1} = \frac{1}{Pc} \left( \frac{8\pi G^2M}{KP} \right)^{1/3}. \] The mass scalings are \[ \Gamma_S\propto M^{-1/3}, \qquad \tau_{\mathrm{relax}}\propto M^{1/3}. \] Thus the post-merger substrate relaxation has a definite mass-dependent timescale.
- Observable Signature: The predicted phenomenon is a substrate-mediated post-merger ringdown component whose amplitude decays exponentially with the closed relaxation rate \(\Gamma_S\). The principal signatures are an exponentially decaying post-merger disturbance, a relaxation rate satisfying \[ \Gamma_S\propto M^{-1/3}, \] a relaxation time satisfying \[ \tau_{\mathrm{relax}}\propto M^{1/3}, \] and a systematic late-stage ringdown component beyond a purely general-relativistic damping description.
- Observable / Test: Precision gravitational-wave measurements of compact-binary coalescences, with the total source mass \(M\) determined independently from the inspiral and merger signal and the post-merger damping profile measured from the ringdown. A population of events spanning different total masses tests \[ \Gamma_S(M) = c \left( \frac{KP^4}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3} \] and the corresponding exponential relaxation profile.
- Localized Falsification: Precision post-merger gravitational-wave measurements that systematically fail to exhibit the predicted exponential relaxation component with the closed rate \[ \Gamma_S = c \left( \frac{KP^4}{8\pi G^2M} \right)^{1/3} \] falsify this specific substrate-mediated relaxation prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 2, 3, or 4.
Prediction 2: Gravitational-Wave Echoes from Synthesis Anchor Boundaries
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Gravitational-Wave Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Vacuum Stiffness \(K=11.350\), Synthesis Pressure \(P=0.6900\), Synthesis Anchor mass \(M\), gravitational constant \(G\), speed of light \(c\), Anchor radius \(r_A\), Schwarzschild radius \(r_s\), and echo delay \(\tau_{\mathrm{echo}}\).
- Core Mechanism: Strong gravitational collapse terminates at a finite Synthesis Anchor radius rather than at zero radius: \[ r_A = \left( \frac{8\pi G^2M}{KP} \right)^{1/3}. \] The finite value \(r_A>0\) provides a physical inner boundary for gravitational disturbances. The Schwarzschild length associated with the same mass is \[ r_s = \frac{2GM}{c^2}. \] The Anchor-to-Schwarzschild scale ratio satisfies \[ \frac{r_A}{r_s}\propto M^{-2/3}. \] The gravitational-wave echo delay is \[ \tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M) = \frac{2}{c} \int_{r_A}^{r_s} \frac{dr}{ 1-\frac{2GM}{c^2r} +\frac{P}{3K}r^2 }. \] Using \[ K=11.350, \qquad P=0.6900, \] this becomes \[ \tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M) = \frac{2}{c} \int_{\left(\frac{8\pi G^2M}{7.8315}\right)^{1/3}}^{\frac{2GM}{c^2}} \frac{dr}{ 1-\frac{2GM}{c^2r} +0.020264\,r^2 }. \] Successive echo arrivals are therefore \[ t_n=t_0+n\tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M), \qquad n=1,2,3,\ldots \] and the post-merger waveform has the form \[ h(t) = h_0(t) + \sum_{n=1}^{\infty} h_n \left( t-t_0-n\tau_{\mathrm{echo}} \right). \] The prediction therefore fixes both the finite inner scale and the mass-dependent temporal spacing of the echo sequence.
- Observable Signature: The predicted phenomenon is a sequence of discrete, delayed gravitational-wave signals following the principal merger and ringdown waveform. The principal signatures are secondary gravitational-wave wave packets, successive arrivals separated by the calculated delay \[ \tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M), \] systematic variation of the echo delay with total source mass, and repeated waveform structure associated with propagation between the strong-gravity region and the finite Anchor boundary.
- Observable / Test: Matched-filter and time-domain searches of high-sensitivity post-merger gravitational-wave data. For each candidate merger, the independently measured total mass \(M\) determines \[ r_A(M) = \left( \frac{8\pi G^2M}{KP} \right)^{1/3}, \] which determines the predicted echo delay \[ \tau_{\mathrm{echo}}=\tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M). \] A population-level test compares measured echo spacings from multiple merger events with this mass-dependent function.
- Localized Falsification: High-sensitivity post-merger gravitational-wave observations across the predicted mass range that systematically fail to reveal echo sequences satisfying \[ \tau_{\mathrm{echo}}(M) = \frac{2}{c} \int_{r_A}^{r_s} \frac{dr}{ 1-\frac{2GM}{c^2r} +\frac{P}{3K}r^2 } \] falsify this specific gravitational-wave echo prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 1, 3, or 4.
Prediction 3: Universal Curvature Ceiling and Mean Anchor Density
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Strong-Gravity Geometric Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Vacuum Stiffness \(K=11.350\), Synthesis Pressure \(P=0.6900\), gravitational constant \(G\), speed of light \(c\), Synthesis Anchor mass \(M\), Anchor radius \(r_A\), curvature invariant \(K_r\), and characteristic Anchor density \(\bar{\rho}_A\).
- Core Mechanism: The finite Anchor radius arrests gravitational collapse before the classical \(r\rightarrow0\) curvature divergence. The relevant curvature invariant is \[ K_r = R_{\alpha\beta\gamma\delta} R^{\alpha\beta\gamma\delta} = \frac{48G^2M^2}{c^4r^6}. \] Using \[ r_A^3 = \frac{8\pi G^2M}{KP}, \] gives \[ r_A^6 = \frac{64\pi^2G^4M^2}{K^2P^2}. \] Therefore, \[ K_{r,\max} = \frac{48G^2M^2}{c^4r_A^6} = \frac{3K^2P^2}{4\pi^2c^4G^2}. \] The mass dependence cancels exactly: \[ \frac{\partial K_{r,\max}}{\partial M}=0. \] The mean Anchor density is \[ \bar{\rho}_A = \frac{3M}{4\pi r_A^3} = \frac{3KP}{32\pi^2G^2}, \] and likewise \[ \frac{\partial\bar{\rho}_A}{\partial M}=0. \] For \[ K=11.350, \qquad P=0.6900, \] the universal curvature ceiling is \[ K_{r,\max} = \frac{ 3(11.350)^2(0.6900)^2 }{ 4\pi^2c^4G^2 }, \] and the mean Anchor density is \[ \bar{\rho}_A = \frac{ 3(11.350)(0.6900) }{ 32\pi^2G^2 }. \] The complete mass scaling is \[ r_A\propto M^{1/3}, \qquad K_{r,\max}\propto M^0, \qquad \bar{\rho}_A\propto M^0. \]
- Observable Signature: The predicted phenomenon is the termination of gravitational collapse at a finite physical scale rather than at divergent curvature. The principal signatures are finite maximum curvature, finite mean Anchor density, absence of a curvature divergence associated with \(r\rightarrow0\), a universal upper curvature scale independent of Anchor mass, and a universal mean density independent of Anchor mass: \[ K_{r,\max} = \frac{3K^2P^2}{4\pi^2c^4G^2}, \qquad \bar{\rho}_A = \frac{3KP}{32\pi^2G^2}. \]
- Observable / Test: Observations and reconstruction of the strongest gravitational fields accessible to precision astrophysical measurements, testing whether the strong-gravity endpoint possesses a finite curvature scale rather than a divergent curvature invariant. A population of compact gravitational objects provides a population-level test of \[ K_{r,\max}(M)=\mathrm{constant}, \qquad \bar{\rho}_A(M)=\mathrm{constant}. \]
- Localized Falsification: Strong-gravity observations establishing a curvature divergence incompatible with \[ K_{r,\max} = \frac{3K^2P^2}{4\pi^2c^4G^2}, \] or establishing a mean Anchor density with mass dependence incompatible with \[ \bar{\rho}_A = \frac{3KP}{32\pi^2G^2}, \] falsify this specific curvature-ceiling and Anchor-density prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 1, 2, or 4.
Prediction 4: Finite-State Suppression of Synthesis Anchor Radiation
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Finite-State Radiation Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Vacuum Stiffness \(K=11.350\), Synthesis Pressure \(P=0.6900\), Synthesis Anchor mass \(M\), finite microscopic state count \(\Omega_A\), Anchor entropy \(S_A\), Anchor temperature \(T_A\), Anchor heat capacity \(C_A\), gravitational constant \(G\), speed of light \(c\), Boltzmann constant \(k_B\), Planck constant \(\hbar\), and characteristic radiation frequency \(\omega_A\).
- Core Mechanism: The Synthesis Anchor possesses a finite microscopic state structure, \[ \Omega_A<\infty, \qquad S_A=k_B\ln\Omega_A. \] Its equilibrium temperature and heat capacity are \[ T_A = \gamma \frac{c^2P^{2/3}} {k_BK^{1/3}G^{4/3}} M^{1/3}, \] and \[ C_A = \frac{3k_BK^{1/3}G^{4/3}} {\gamma P^{2/3}} M^{2/3}. \] For emission of a quantum of frequency \(\omega\), the finite-state transition factor is \[ \frac{\Omega(E-\hbar\omega)} {\Omega(E)} = \exp\left[ -\frac{\hbar\omega}{k_BT_A} - \frac{(\hbar\omega)^2} {2k_BT_A^2C_A} + \mathcal O(\omega^3) \right]. \] The second-order finite-heat-capacity term therefore produces a spectral suppression relative to the corresponding thermal reference spectrum: \[ \frac{dP_A}{d\omega} = \frac{dP_{\mathrm{th}}}{d\omega} \exp\left[ -\frac{(\hbar\omega)^2} {2k_BT_A^2C_A} \right]. \] Defining the characteristic frequency by \[ \frac{(\hbar\omega_A)^2} {2k_BT_A^2C_A} = 1, \] gives \[ \omega_A = \frac{c^2}{\hbar} \sqrt{ \frac{6\gamma P^{2/3}} {K^{1/3}G^{4/3}} } M^{2/3}. \] Therefore, \[ \omega_A\propto M^{2/3}. \] The finite-state suppression factor is \[ \mathcal S_A(\omega) = \exp\left[ -\left( \frac{\omega}{\omega_A} \right)^2 \right], \] and the radiation spectrum is \[ \frac{dP_A}{d\omega} = \frac{dP_{\mathrm{th}}}{d\omega} \exp\left[ -\left( \frac{\omega}{\omega_A} \right)^2 \right]. \] At \[ \omega=\omega_A, \] the suppression factor is \[ \mathcal S_A(\omega_A)=e^{-1}. \] For two Anchor masses \(M_1\) and \(M_2\), \[ \frac{\omega_A(M_1)} {\omega_A(M_2)} = \left( \frac{M_1}{M_2} \right)^{2/3}. \]
- Observable Signature: The predicted phenomenon is a frequency-dependent suppression of Synthesis Anchor radiation relative to the corresponding thermal reference spectrum. The principal signatures are a departure from the thermal reference spectrum near the characteristic frequency \(\omega_A\), the finite-state suppression factor \[ \mathcal S_A(\omega) = \exp\left[ -\left( \frac{\omega}{\omega_A} \right)^2 \right], \] the characteristic frequency \[ \omega_A = \frac{c^2}{\hbar} \sqrt{ \frac{6\gamma P^{2/3}} {K^{1/3}G^{4/3}} } M^{2/3}, \] and the mass scaling \[ \omega_A\propto M^{2/3}. \] The decisive spectral ratio is \[ \mathcal R_A(\omega) = \frac{(dP_A/d\omega)} {(dP_{\mathrm{th}}/d\omega)} = \exp\left[ -\left( \frac{\omega}{\omega_A} \right)^2 \right]. \]
- Observable / Test: High-resolution spectral measurements of radiation associated with genuine strong-gravity Synthesis Anchor systems. For each source, the gravitational mass \(M\) is determined independently and the measured spectrum is compared with the corresponding thermal reference spectrum. The extracted characteristic frequency must satisfy \[ \omega_A(M) = \frac{c^2}{\hbar} \sqrt{ \frac{6\gamma P^{2/3}} {K^{1/3}G^{4/3}} } M^{2/3}. \] A population of sources spanning different masses provides a direct test of \[ \frac{\omega_A(M_1)} {\omega_A(M_2)} = \left( \frac{M_1}{M_2} \right)^{2/3}. \]
- Localized Falsification: Direct observations of radiation associated with genuine Synthesis Anchor systems that systematically fail to exhibit the predicted finite-state spectral suppression relative to the corresponding thermal reference spectrum, or that fail to exhibit the required \[ \omega_A\propto M^{2/3} \] mass scaling, falsify this specific finite-state radiation-spectrum prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 1, 2, or 3.
