Status: Dark Sector Replacement — Four Predictions
Prediction 1: Baryon-Coupled Vacuum-Stiffness Structure
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Structural Prediction / Dark Sector Replacement
- Underlying Parameters: Conserving Field parameters \(\eta\) and \(R_c\), matter-source trace \(T_{\mathrm{SM}}\), background field value \(\psi_0\), and Vacuum Stiffness \(K\).
- Core Mechanism: The vacuum-stiffness gravitational response is generated directly by the physical matter source and therefore cannot exist as an independently distributed dark gravitational source. The Conserving Field solution is \[ \psi(r) = \psi_0+ \frac{\eta T_{\mathrm{SM}}}{r+R_c}. \] The corresponding stiffness contribution is \[ K_{\mu\nu} = \eta\bigl(\psi(r)-\psi_0\bigr)g_{\mu\nu}. \] Hence the additional gravitational response remains structurally coupled to the baryonic matter distribution and its synthesis history.
- Observable / Test: High-resolution gravitational-lensing maps, stellar and gas kinematics, and spatial comparisons between baryonic distributions and inferred excess gravitational structures, with particular attention to claimed dark gravitational structures spatially displaced from or detached from their corresponding baryonic sources.
- Localized Falsification: Demonstration of an independently existing gravitational source producing the dark-sector gravitational signal while remaining genuinely decoupled from any baryonic synthesis source and without requiring the derived vacuum-stiffness contribution falsifies this specific baryon-coupled vacuum-stiffness prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 2–4.
Prediction 2: Galactic Vacuum-Stiffness Plateau
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Structural Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Vacuum Stiffness \(K\), Conserving Field solution, ordinary gravitational source \(GM\), and derived long-range stiffness coefficient \(k\).
- Core Mechanism: The vacuum-stiffness contribution remains dynamically significant beyond the region in which the ordinary matter contribution becomes subdominant. The resulting radial acceleration is \[ a(r) = \frac{GM}{r^2} + \frac{k}{r}. \] The corresponding orbital velocity is \[ v^2(r) = \frac{GM}{r} + k. \] Therefore, \[ \lim_{r\rightarrow\infty}v^2(r)=k. \] The rotation velocity consequently approaches a finite asymptotic value rather than following the Newtonian \(1/\sqrt{r}\) decline. The framework therefore predicts a large-radius stiffness-dominated regime producing approximately flat galactic rotation curves.
- Observable / Test: Extended galactic rotation curves beyond the principal luminous matter distribution, together with large-radius gravitational-lensing measurements, testing the transition from matter-dominated to stiffness-dominated gravitational behavior and the predicted asymptotic velocity.
- Localized Falsification: Demonstration that the additional gravitational contribution does not exhibit the derived long-range behavior, or that the large-radius gravitational response is universally and quantitatively accounted for by ordinary matter alone, falsifies this specific galactic vacuum-stiffness plateau prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 1, 3, or 4.
Prediction 3: Non-Diluting Synthesis Pressure
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Structural Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Synthesis Pressure \(P\), Stabilizing Field, and equilibrium potential value \(V(\phi_{\min})\).
- Core Mechanism: Synthesis pressure is an intrinsic, non-diluting structural property of the substrate rather than a freely varying phenomenological energy component whose magnitude independently changes with cosmic expansion. At the minimum of the Stabilizing Field potential, \[ P = -\frac{V(\phi_{\min})}{c^2} = -\frac{P_s}{c^2}. \] The pressure is therefore fixed by the equilibrium state of the substrate and does not arise from a particle population whose density dilutes with expansion or from an independently fitted function of redshift. The prediction applies to the present settled substrate state represented by the current \(K/P\) regime. The relative balance between vacuum stiffness and synthesis pressure can evolve through cosmic history as the \(K/P\) ratio evolves; this does not alter the intrinsic non-diluting character of the synthesis-pressure contribution in the settled regime.
- Observable / Test: Redshift-distance measurements, Type Ia supernovae, baryon acoustic oscillations, and large-scale-structure growth measurements testing whether the present-epoch cosmological source is consistent with a constant structural pressure contribution without requiring an independently varying dark-energy component.
- Localized Falsification: Demonstration that, in the present settled epoch, the expansive source undergoes genuine dilution or independent dynamical evolution that cannot be obtained from the Stabilizing Field equilibrium and the settled \(K/P\) regime falsifies this specific non-diluting synthesis-pressure prediction only. Evolution of the relative \(K/P\) balance during earlier cosmic epochs does not, by itself, falsify this prediction.
Prediction 4: Quantitative Pressure–Expansion Relation
- Classification: Genuinely Novel Quantitative Structural Prediction
- Underlying Parameters: Synthesis Pressure \(P\), Stabilizing Field source contribution, Newton's gravitational constant \(G\), matter density \(\rho\), and cosmic scale factor \(a\).
- Core Mechanism: The cosmological acceleration produced by synthesis pressure must obey the quantitative relation derived from the completed gravitational source. The Stabilizing Field contribution is \[ P_{\mu\nu} = -\frac{P_s}{c^2}g_{\mu\nu}. \] The resulting cosmic acceleration equation is \[ \frac{\ddot a}{a} = -\frac{4\pi G}{3} \left( \rho+ \frac{3P_{\mathrm{syn}}}{c^2} \right). \] The synthesis pressure satisfies \[ P_{\mathrm{syn}}<0. \] Its contribution therefore reduces gravitational focusing and produces accelerated expansion. The prediction specifies both the required sign and the quantitative magnitude relation governing the cosmological effect.
- Observable / Test: Independent measurements of cosmic expansion history and large-scale-structure growth, testing whether the observed relationship between expansion, matter density, and the expansive gravitational source satisfies the derived acceleration equation for the independently calculated synthesis pressure.
- Localized Falsification: Failure of the observed relationship between cosmic expansion, matter density, and the expansive gravitational contribution to satisfy the derived pressure–expansion equation, or demonstration that the cosmological contribution has the opposite gravitational sign, falsifies this specific quantitative pressure–expansion prediction only. It does not, by itself, falsify Predictions 1–3.
